Raising Funds with The Cookie Cake Factory

We believes in supporting the community and giving back by becoming involved in many areas of the community. Fundraising is one of the best ways for us to give back and have an immediate positive impact on the community. Below is a brief description of the 2 types of fundraising opportunities we offer.

“Giveback Night” Fundraiser: We will typically schedule this fundraiser on a Monday-Friday night, between the hours of 3pm-9pm. 15% of all sales (pre-tax) brought in by your fundraiser will be donated directly to your organization. People attending your fundraiser will need to mention that they are at The Cookie Cake Factory to support your fundraiser.

 

“Cookie Cake Challenge” Fundraiser: We offer a long term fundraising event, typically over a 4-6 week period, known as the “Cookie Cake Challenge”. During the fundraising term, for every paid cookie cake order placed in the name of your organization, We will donate $5.00-$8.00 to your organization. In addition, We will award a cookie cake party to the winning class/team for the most cookie cakes sold. Q: What types of organizations qualify for fundraisers with The Cookie Cake Factory?

 A: We partners with several community organizations, including:

 

  • Schools
  • Parent/Teacher Organizations
  • Faith-based Organizations
  • Youth Sports Leagues
  • Scout Groups
  • Sororities & Fraternities
  • Dance Schools/Teams
  • Gymnastic Teams
  • Health Improvement Organizations (i.e., cancer societies, etc.)

 

Q: What do I need to do to request a fundraiser for my organization?

A: Submit your request by calling us at (504) 305-2077 along with the type of fundraiser you are interested in and desired fundraising date. Please request in advance to ensure you have enough time to promote your fundraising event.

Q: Is a flyer provided so I can promote my event?

A: Yes, upon approval of your fundraiser, you will receive a PDF version to print and distribute.

 Q: What can I do to ensure a successful fundraiser?

A: Promoting your fundraiser and getting as many supporters involved is always the best way to ensure a successful fundraiser.

 

Here are some helpful tips: 

  • Plan ahead and give yourself at least 30 days prior to the event in order to get the word out.
  • Recruit help from close sources to spread the word through social media and word of mouth.
  • Post the event on your organizations website and social media such as Facebook and Twitter to get the word out to a larger audience.
  • Use the pre-designed flyer provided to spread the word.
  • Make sure that your fundraiser supporters mention your organization when they are supporting your fundraiser.

 

We will make every effort to assist you and work with you to make your fundraiser a huge success. Remember, the more people who support your fundraiser, the more money you raise for your organization!

 

 

Cookie Cake Challenge Fundraiser

How It Works

 

  1. The challenge will run during a specific start and stop date to be decided by your school. The normal length is 30-45 days, however that can be extended.

 All cookie cakes purchased during these dates, and identified as a supporter of your school by the purchaser will be eligible.  Although orders must be purchased during the specified dates to be eligible, we understand not everyone will have a particular event to celebrate during that time.  For this reason, the order fulfillment date can be postdated up to 12 months following the ending date of the event as long as the order is paid for in full during the dates of the challenge.

 Example: Your organizations challenge dates are October 1st-31st, 2016. Cakes paid for in full during that time have until October 31st, 2017 to schedule their cake for pickup.

 

  1. Purchasers must identify the school and class they are supporting when ordering and confirm during pickup. They will be asked if they are supporting any fundraisers.

 

  1. Eligible orders can be placed by phone, in person or on our website at CookieCakeFactory.com. We will provide you will a special promo code to be entered when ordering online to ensure your school and class get credit for the purchase.

 

  1. Each eligible order will raise a dollar amount for your school of $5.00 - $8.00 and earn a point value for the class named depending on the size of the cake purchased. See the chart below.

  1. Points earned for each class will be tallied at the end of the challenge. The class with the highest points earned will win a cookie cake party for the entire class.  The date of the class party will be determined by your school.

 

  1. No coupons or discounts of any kind can be used in conjunction with an eligible order. All eligible orders must be purchased at regular price.

 

  1. To help promote your fundraiser, we will provide you will promotional cards explaining how the challenge works and how someone can order their cookie cake to support the fundraiser. Each student will receive between 5-10 cards to be given out to their family and friends. 

This fundraiser is a win-win for everyone and allows for a substantial amount of funds to be raised for your school.
